Kunst

Dear readers,

Today I worked further on the assignments of Jane Davies’ course. See for the exact assignment wednuesday 7 september. Today I discovered something new: te colour purple (I never used it), and the beautiful combination it makes with ‘teal’ (green turquoise).

I wil not finish 10 pieces, as I should for the course. It simply is too much.

Bye, and thanks for visiting!

Simone

    Hi Dotty,
I use Talens Amsterda Spray Paint (specific for artists). Maybe household spraypaint can work too? I guess so…
I don’t think it is very healthy to work with, though. But I indeed like the effect.

Simone, I’m glad you’ve discovered purple—these are beautiful! Very vibrant and lively.

I like your use of the spray paint (thanks for answering my earlier question). My new question is, do you get regular household spray paint at the hardware store or something specific for artists?

In the two pieces above, I especially like the places where you’ve created little ‘windows’ to look through.

I hear you about the time commitment for the class—HUGE!
