Dear readers,
Today I worked on the same theme as a few days ago: Quinocridone Nickel Azo Gold, Green Gold, Azarite Hue. Drops and cirkels. Little pencil scribbles. Same old story, but this time on 50/50 cm (20/20 inch). Which gives another challenge: a nice one. I like it.
Today I noticed the complimentary things in this painting: the transparent vs the opaque, the bold white and black vs the mellow colours, the strong black lines vs the little thin pencil scribbles, the stripes vs the circles.
This was it for today!
Thanks for reading,
Simone
Thank you Dotty!
Hey! In spite of the time difference, I guess we are now ‘in sync’!
Thanks for your reaction again. Yes, I like it, the 50/50 cm. Even though it is ‘more of the same’ it feels different for me than the small ones.
I like the poetic feeling that this one has for me. I hope to follow this path further,
Hope your painting day is going to bring you good!
Simone
t
Simone, 50/50cm is big! Love that you took on that challenge!
I liked your discussion of the various complements in this painting.
This painting draws me in. I’m fascinated by its feeling of depth. I feel as though I am navigating through the spaces between the circles to a space that goes on forever.
I love the teeniest thinnest little circles, arrows, and squiggles here.
