Kunst

Dear readers,

Today no time to paint, so I figured I should make a 3-minute-painting ;-)

I only used fine pencil, charcoal and black acrylic paint. And my finger!

Below you see the results.

Bye!

Simone

I’ll post today’s painting, the one I refer to above, a little bit later today. You’ll see that it’s more akin to my first two paintings from this vacation (see posts entitled Refreshment and Revisiting) than to the subsequent three which were more representational. Today I SO enjoyed finding my inner voice again, painting from intuition way more than idea.

FYI, tomorrow I’m meeting a local artist in her, as she put it, “messy, working” home studio. I’m so excited!

I love hearing that you found your inner voice again. I more and more think this whole painting thing is all about that.
Keep me posted about the local artist!

    Hi Dotty!
That sounds good. The painting of today, was that the ‘folky’ one?

    bye!

Simone, thank you for today’s three-minute paintings! You woke me up to some tension I was feeling, and I was able to ‘right my ship’ and sail with my own painting today with great pleasure instead of pressure and fussiness. I am grateful. The three inspiration creatures you gave birth to smiled at me, called out and invited me to laugh and play. Phew!
