Kunst

Dear readers,

I want to paint further on the theme of the last days (and then still bigger, on an old 60/60 cm – 24/24″ canvas that I already painted over), but today I don’t have much time.

So why not experiment with different colours? Naphtol Red, Cobalt Turquoise and far beneath my dear friend Quinocridone Nickel Azo Gold.

I guess I can go on with this theme, trying out all the colours!

I noticed that it is not always easier to paint on a small scale. I hardly have space between the drops of turquoise to paint white on them. So maybe painting on a bigger scale might be even a better idea to save time.

That’s it for now!

Thanks for visiting and have a nice day,

Simone

    Hi Dotty,

Would be really fun to try it out, the larger painting! Here the wallpaper comes in handy…
What would you like to try?

    Keep me posted!

    bye,
    Simone

Everyone is gathered around Naphthol Red on the playground. She is the one everyone else looks up to and envies—even when she has spilled food all over herself at lunchtime!

I’m eager to hear about your adventures when you paint on a larger scale. I was just thinking about larger scale yesterday. It has been a long time since I have painted larger, a long time since I have painted on canvas.

I love to watch your paintings evolve. I like seeing how you work a theme over time.
