Kunst

Dear readers,

Today I did not work on the three 40/40 paintings again, probably because I already like them too much, and I have little time and don’t want to spoil them because I feel pressured.

So I did a funny experiment, I took the first thing that I saw around my desk, and that was a big envelop, with an ‘etiket’ on it, wrapped in plastic. Below you see the photo’s. I ripped it off the envelop, and started paintings, with two colours of liquid acrylics (cobalt turquoise and green gold), and white paint, and some crayons.

It was a real fun experiment. I hope to do more of these silly things! It really proves you can make something out of nothing (a beautiful definition of creativity).

I will take a look at your blog to see what is the result! Have a good Pentecoste (here we don’t work at Monday too, so I will be here Tuesday again).

Simone, your experimenting makes me smile. Your carefree approach is a compelling invitation to play, and since I am feeling ‘allergic’ this morning to anything that feels like work (especially anything related to art that feels like work), I am going to follow your lead!

Did you paint on the plastic?
