Dear readers,
After working on a bigger canvas last week I am back with the 20/20 cm on paper. Wanted to try the combination of Naphtol Red and Cobalt Turquoise another time. A lot of elements returned; the circles, the drips. This time the black blocks at the upper side are back. I think it is time for a little bit more adventure tomorrow… ;-)
Still: the working on a bigger size is also an adventure. For instance: I would like to paint one time on 100/100 cm (I still have an 15 year old canvas waiting for me that I am going to paint over). But painting on a big size has its own difficulties (and pleasures!) I guess. So I still might go back to the designs that I already tried out on 20/20 cm and 60/60 cm. We’ll see.
Thanks for visiting!
Simone

Thanks!
Simone, we have snow falling here today and many schools closed. Enough!
The simplicity of your painting today, with plenty of resting space, is tapping me on the shoulder. I have myself in the middle of a series of paintings that, although fun and appealing in the end, are very busy and crowded. Your painting offers a lovely balm.
