Dear reader,
After a few weeks of not taking the time to Really Paint (because I had so many other Important Things to do), I finally took the time for painting again. I took out one of the big paintings that still were not finished, and I made quite big changes to it.
I was tired of the ‘seriousness’ of this painting, so I put a lot of pink and yellow on it.
That was nice to do!

Simone, big changes! I love that you were tired of the ‘seriousness’ of this painting, so you put a lot of pink and yellow on it. I am reminded of times when I have had a painting not going the way I wanted, and/or times when I have had more on my mind than I could manage, and then I feel a giddy recklessness come over me that I bring to my canvas.
