I am still working on copy paper, no pretense at all. Today I made it a bit more difficult for myself: I started (after crayons and scribbles and marks with

Today I made it a bit more difficult for myself: I started (after crayons and scribbles and marks with a pencil and black marker) with another color: Green Gold. Also a beautiful color but not as ‘inviting’ as Quinacridone Nickel Azo Gold. Next, I put a very bubble gum kind of pink on it: a completely difficult color.

And then I added more colors, all quite different, for instance, Phtalo Blue and Quinacridone Magenta. And then I wanted to experiment with glazing. To see what putting the Nickel Azo Gold on top would do. And indeed: that glazing layer draws all the colors together, makes them feel harmonious. And of course afterward more marks with crayon.
