Dear readers,
Today I finished the second one from the series of three that I am working on. Now I have finished the second one I suddenly start to see all kinds of flaws in the first one! And I was yesterday so happy with it! Still like it, but I guess today I experienced so much with the second one, that I can’t help ‘seeing/experiencing’ the first one differently.
I don’t know how I should value this. Shall I just ignore that voice? Or shall I go back to the first painting, and work on it more. I guess then I will risk spoiling it by ‘overworking’ it.
It is not a real problem, I still like the first one very much. Maybe we keep being in progress, everytime learning more and growing as a painter.
bye!
Simone
Hey, that is interesting! A bigger diameter? I can’t imagine they can be thinner, I think they would break! Are you sure?
I measured it. The diameter is about 0,9 cm. I think it is 0.35 inch.
I continu looking at them. Let’s see how this develops!
bye!
Simone, I am enjoying your ‘problem’ of hindsight, and I look forward to hearing what evolves. In the meantime, I really like this series! LOVE seeing your box of neocolor pastels, and I’m realizing that your neocolors are a different size from the ones I ordered a year or more ago—and now I can see why you are able to get the effects you get, b/c your crayons are a much bigger diameter.
