Kunst

Dear readers,

Yesterday I had an appointment with Asta at ‘Griftsteede’ in Utrecht, to talk about whether or not I can have an exposition in March 2017. It turned out that Asta was very enthusiast about the paintings – that made me very happy!

So: I will have an exposition from 6 March until 8 Mai, the opening will be 12 March 2017. Hooray!

Today a very busy day, but I painted anyway, for a very short time. I worked on 20/20 cm.

Bye!

Simone

    Hi Dotty!

Yes, isn’t it wonderful! It might be indeed a bit difficult to visit it (flying all the way from Massachusettes). Yes, I will surely have smaller works too, the ones I made in the past maybe, but I am also making new work on a small scale. Right now on 8/8 “, but I might try other sizes too. And maybe even something rectangular after all this square work!

    bye!

    CONGRATULATIONS, Simone!!!

I am so happy to hear your news. Sure do wish I could visit your exhibit! Will you have small works in addition to your large canvases?

I love today’s small busy-day-but-painted-anyway piece, with its change of color palette. So many inviting details to explore.
