Dear readers,
Today I did not had so much time, so I decided to work very small (inspired by Jane Davies, who launched the 4/4 inch paintings). This painting is also 4/4 inch or 10/10 cm.
I was inspired by Line Juhl Hansen (who makes really beautiful artwork) to use printed paper as a collage in the painting. The scraps that I used are from a very small atlas. You can stil see Hungary, Bohemia and Moravia peep through ;-)

Simone, often I save my daily visit to your blog as a “reward” for pushing myself to tend to chores for which I might not have much enthusiasm. Today I have no such self-discipline so here I am enjoying the surprise of new colors! and new elements! and your 4×4″ painting. What fun! Thank you for the spark of new energy!
Now, it remains to be seen if I will take on my long list of chores … or head to my studio right now!
