Yes indeed, liquid acrylic first, then watercolour crayon.
It is so nice of liquid acrylic: you hardy do anything, but it has a lot of effect.
And the neocolour II crayons are really a blessing.
And: indeed, 5 minute paintings rule! Now I know I never have an excuse to NOT paint!

I love these two little monsters! The right hand one, especially, has a very appealing look of being a “flattened out” rendering of a 3 dimensional creature.
