Dear readers,
Yesterday the two canvases of 1/1 meter (40/40″) that I ordered arrived. They are so huge that I literally can not stock them in my house, but: as I as a coach always suggest to my clients: go for what you want and not for what you think that is possible. ;-)
So I decided to walk my talk. Probably I created myself a problem, but: we’ll see.
I found them a bit intimidating, but today I started with them, only a first layer. It was big fun!
I started with both of them at a time: one can dry while I work on the other.
The discovery of today was how much the size of the tools matters!
I orded three foam brushes of 7 cm wide (you can see them on the photo). They were fantastic to work with! They give a whole different feeling while painting. Of course I had read that elsewhere, that if you scale up your canvas you have to scale up your tools too. But it is really true.
Unfortunately: my working space has not scaled up. We’ll wait for that (I might have to wait quite long though….)
bye!
Have a nice day, and thank you for visiting,
Simone

Wish I could scale up the size of my comment here:

So nice you are back in town ;-)
