Kunst

Dear readers,

Today I experienced again how wonderful daily painting is. I started the day a bit sad and worrying, but I decided to paint anyway. Bigger, this time (while I thought I would paint a while on a small size, after all these big paintings that I made), ‘they’ decided to do something else. So I took out an old piece of paper (already painted with something really ugly on it), painted it over with some favourite colours. Not thinking, and totally forgetting about myself and my so called ‘problems’…

Daily painting is an amazing thing, and today I realized this again.

It is on 50/50 cm paper (20/20″) – mounting on panel included, and for sale (€ 195,00 incl tax and shipping)

bye!

Simone

I totally love the story behind this painting and love that a morning that started out a bit sad and worrying moved to a completed painting, available for purchase, and a lighter heart (not for purchase!). I love the colors here and the feeling of depth and complexity. Your detail/closeup photos are beautiful, too.

Thanks Dotty, I was amazed too! While I had been painting a bit uninspired the last days, suddenly this burst of inspiration fell in my lap. Luckily I sat there, ready to catch it 😉
