Dear readers,
Today I worked on the same format as yesterday: an old piece of lifting paper (simple copy paper), and working with it with crayon, graphite and pencil. Today I also brayered white paint over it, which gives it a whole different feeling.

I like these lifted compositions, with their humble beginnings and simple embellishments. This one feels like a little landscape, a little cluster of trees beckoning me.
It is early early morning here. My house full of family has just emptied. Today will be a day of transition. Most likely, following your lead, I will just do something simple in my studio today (studio won’t even be reassembled yet actually; it’ll still be a bedroom).
