Kunst

Dear readers,

After a busy day yesterday, I am back painting. I worked further on the path of the ‘sea-animals’ that I started a few days ago. It is interesting that I seem to work between ‘figurative’ and ‘non-figurative’ painting these days. You can interpret these paintings as abstract, but you also can see figures in them.

It is funny: when I show my children my abstract paintings, they always ‘see things’ in them. Like they see animals in the clouds and faces in sandwiches with peanut butter. I guess it is so human to recognize human or animal creatures in abstract shapes.

Bye!

Simone

Hi Simone, glad to have you back! This painting creates an energy and image that brings to mind Greek gods on high who are producing a storm and sending lightning down to the mortals on earth! I love your experimental explorations with paint!
