Daily Painting: 15 x 15 cm

Daily painting

Dear readers,

Today, I felt in a hurry. (Always good to check in with myself, at such a moment – why am I in a hurry? Do I think a future moment is better than this one?). Anyway – I wanted to finish a video for my online course ‘The Art of Now’, soon to be released. But I also wanted to paint!

So I took out one of the bigger starts that I made a few weeks ago (50×70 cm, that’s about 20×28″).

And I cut out a piece of 15×15 cm (6×6″), using a wooden panel of that size.

Then I used only markers and paint (white, turquoise and quinacridone nickel azo gold) – and my fingers – to finish this small painting. I really like it!

Using only a few colors to finish it, and only using markers and my fingers as tools, I didn’t need to clean up (only one finger). I can manage that;-).

Here’s the bigger painting start that I made a few weeks ago:

Here are some detailed shots of that painting:

And I cut out this piece (see below). If I go on like this, I will be able to cut out 12 pieces that size.

And this is my 15×15 cm painting after I finished it:

I wish you a beautiful and creative day!

Bye!

I am going to focus on smaller pieces of my day and make them beautiful as they arise, knowing that no future moment is better than this one here and now.

Hi Dotty, I’m going to keep the same thing in mind! Every moment, again and again…
