Daily Painting: A postcard from the drawer

Daily painting

Dear reader,

Under my desk, I keep a big drawer with old paintings, and scraps of painted paper that still have beautiful reusable pieces on them. Today I didn’t have time to paint, but I wanted to make something, so I opened this drawer, and: yes! This was what came out of it.

Bye!

    Simone,

    1. Love your amoebic cyclops postcard!

    2. I totally identify with your no-time-to-paint-but-want-to-make-something-and-I-have-a-drawer-of-old-paintings-and-beautiful-scraps theme. As you know, we have family visiting. I had no time to paint yesterday but wanted to make a handmade birthday card for daughter-in-law Christine whom we’ll see today, so I went to MY drawer of old paintings and scraps, and had such a satisfying experience of snagging a found composition and turning it into a delightful card : )

Yes, possibilities are endless if you start looking at scraps in another way!
