Dear readers,
Today I made another square, from the bigger 50/70 cm painting that I made a while ago. Now I’ve painting three out of twelve squares. Would be interesting to see them all together one day. We’ll see!
I find it very satisfying to work with only two colors (you can see some shimmering of pink/magenta in the background, but that was just the ground layer). It’s easy, no need to clean up a lot, and no colors clashing too much. I like the simplicity of only few colors. And the turquoise still doesn’t bore me. So many shades!
Also I made a bookmark yesterday, I will show it below.
Here’s the square:
Next time, I hope to remember that I want to paint the ‘start’-square.
This is the bookmark:
Nothing special, just a leftover scrap with some dots and white paint on it. Took me about two minutes, I think. Small time-investment, big fun!
Bye!

Small investment, big fun sounds perfect! The layering in your square piece invites me to pause and enter the depths. Thank you! I accept the invitation!
Yes, I like this ‘small investment, big fun’ – concept also very much! No excuse to not play around a bit, and a reminder to not take ‘Art’ that seriously ;-)!
