Dear reader,
After a lot of days of quickly making collages, because I was ‘so busy’… today I worked with Real Paint again. On the floor, in an old diary. I loved it!
I only used two colors Diaralyde Yellow and Cobalt Turquoise (and Black and White of course), And two colors of crayon (turquoise and yellow). I like to work with a limited palette.
Bye!
Ps:
Below you find two stages of the painting, an impression of the floor of my ‘studio’ (i.e., four square meters behind my desk), and a few details. There were a lot of nice details to be found, which is always a good sign I think. The texture played a big role in that.

Simone, two aspects of this painting (Real Paint!) especially draw me in: the limited palette and the same-color-on-same-color use of paint and crayon.
Yes, I like that too! I’m going to experiment more with this very limited palette (maybe only two colors, or three at the most. I very much like the earthy tones that mixing two (more or less) opposite colors give. And mixing with black/white gives even more possibilities.
