Dear readers,
The holiday is coming up, I most probably will not be painting for a while, but today I paint! I’m rounding up the year, so it’s only something small (10×10 cm, 4×4″). I love to work this small. Only with three colors of paint (turquoise, quinacridone nickel azo gold, white), and an underlayer of an old piece of painting.

Your words and your tiny painting move me to step into my studio where I savor a moment of handling paintings I made as postcards that I sent to my dad. I’ve taken one today and made it into three bookmarks : )
