Daily Painting: Being So Called Busy

Daily painting

Dear reader,

 

Today I was so-called-busy, but thanks to my friend Dotty I was inspired to paint anyway. Only took a quarter of an hour or so. No spectacular results, but I had fun!

    yay!

    When I look at this painting, I have an immediate response. My 5-, 6-, or 7-year old self awakens, filled with light. I see myself sitting on a chair, in perfect stillness and presence, at one with all.

      I love that image! I have a lot of that experiences of feeling like a little kid while painting. Making these images, the ones that children make when they first make drawings. Only a head and four limbs. I love that!
