Daily painting: Black on White and White on Black

Daily painting

Dear reader,

Just a very short note, because I have an appointment in 10 minutes:

Another postcard. It is a blessing to have a pile of old paintings that don’t deserve the name painting in a drawer.

I made this collage in only a few minutes.

Glue scraps. Add black and white marks. Ready.

Bye!

Simone

Thanks, Dotty! There is indeed an underlying cohesion I think. First, because I make them all in a row, it is one flow. And the other thing is: The scraps I used are all made from one painting. So they are all sort of family ;-)

Your postcards are magical! There is something very intuitive about them. I think there is an underlying cohesion in all your work that opens doors to these collage paintings in magnificent ways.
