Today another business card. I love this tiny size so much!
First, post card size seemed so small to me. Right now, compared to business card size, it’s huge! How I’m ever going to get back to big again?
Today I had the interesting experience that I did not like the card halfway. But trust has grown inside that there is always something unexpected waiting at the other end. And it did! Golden Liquid Acrylics Quinacridone Nickel Azo Gold helped the card coming together.
Today I implemented tiny scraps of newspaper in the collage. Like it!

I valued the reminder of how one can unify a painting/composition with a transparent glaze using a color such as quin gold. Watching you DO that brought the concept to life so strongly, much more compellingly than just hearing or reading the same idea, and even more strongly than seeing a before and after comparison—it was so helpful to SEE the quin gold bring your elements together in real time.
Thanks! You are right: glazing is a miraculous thing, you see the painting coming together under your hands, you have to do hardly anything for it!
I have a new appreciation for your use of Quin Gold having watched you use it in the video I watched yesterday. Speaking of your video, now I want to have a video for each painting you post!
