Daily Painting: From Old to New

Daily painting

Dear readers,

 

Today, I felt inspired with a very old piece of handmade paper (I believe Japanese). I already have it for maybe 20 years, and I never could throw it away, because I love it so much.

At that time I glued some brown packaging paper on it, and also added white, black, yellow and blue paint.

Now I tore that old painting apart, and made something new of it (A5 format).

    Oh, so much to explore here—from the up-close fried egg to the sun and stars of the universe, the wrinkles in time and perspective!

      Yes, that’s what I love so much – this wrinkled paper gives so much to explore – all the little details, and the effect that it has on the paint and the marks!
