Daily Painting: getting into the groove again

Daily painting

Dear reader,

I have quite a bit of difficulty starting up again the painting process. There is so much work to do around marketing my book etcetera, that I am drawn to that much more. At the same time I don’t want to give up my painting.

Right now, I’m following my own advice, and work with collages. I cut up old material and add extra paint. Yesterday and today, I only made a cut out from an old painting, and added some extra black paint. Very quick, but at least: I’m painting!

Below the paintings of this morning and yesterday morning.

    1. (top painting) the ‘black holes’ exert such a force—they mirror my current circumstances where several things demand my attention at once, i move towards one, am pulled into the energy field, and next thing i know it’s the next day!

    2. (bottom painting) thanks for the plate of sautéd veggies and for a fried egg cooked in a cast iron skillet : )

Thanks! I always love your associations. Black holes to be drawn towards, and fried eggs in a pan ;-)!
