Daily Painting: Making a Mess of it

Dear reader,

 

Today I wanted to continue the path that I happily landed on last Friday. Unfortunately, it became quite a mess (and it was maybe sort of saved by the use of crayons). But: at least I kept my art practice going.

    You are where I’d like to be—working freely for short playful periods, keeping my art practice going, making ‘a mess of it’ if that’s what happens, not overworking, and posting no matter what. Please laugh with me when I told you that I woke last night at some point and started thinking (and thinking and thinking) … about how I could paint withOUT thinking!

      Yes, that’s the paradox. I know EVERYTHING about that paradox đŸ˜‰ Have tons of experience with it.
      It is very freeing after all the postcards (which I immensely liked too), to paint in an old notebook. I plan to start working bigger soon. On my beloved wallpaper…
