Daily Painting: painting again

Jun 10, 2020 | Daily painting

Dear readers,

Apparently I haven’t been painting for almost two weeks! I don’t know where the time flew. I know I’m busy with other work, but didn’t realize I left my painting THAT long!

I made two small paintings. The second one didn’t work out at all, but I didn’t want to give up, so I glued paper on it, tore things apart, and the result you’ll find below. I’m not very satisfied with the result, but at least I ploughed along untill the end ;-)!

bye!

Simone

The luminous quality of the blue piece slows my breathing down and fills me with light. Thank you!

I am fascinated by the didn’t-work-out-at-all piece which perhaps (?) more accurately is a case of didn’t-work-out-as-would-have-liked. In fact, I trust it is exactly what it is meant to be; a painting of this sort seems to point to deeper knowing than our minds typically hold.

Oh, Dotty, thanks, I love this reply! When I look again at these small paintings, I see what you mean ;-)!
