Simone, I love your recycling! I often grab similar source material when I’m painting. I’ll be creating something and wanting a bit of collage—sometimes I paint a collage piece in the moment and sometimes I go to my ‘organized’ stash of collage material (some in boxes, some in piles, some on a table, some on the bed), BUT sometimes I grab whatever is lying around closest to me and recycle it into my painting!
That’s what I did this morning! I love the word ‘source material’. Going to keep that in mind.
