Daily Painting, Six Paintings, day 19

Dear reader,

Even though my mind wants to be ‘busy’ and start my day straight away with 1000 things to organize, I managed to choose to take out my paints and sit down for some painting on the third big painting. Happy I did!

I’m surprised that all my paintings end up going in the same direction. Blurbs and blobs. Linework. Texture. That’s it.

Like you, I have been intensely active with details related to my painting, but I have not had a chance to do much ACTUAL painting AT ALL for several weeks. Your forward motion here and your comments shine a light that lets me trust my path and know that I will soon return to the joy of painting. Thank you.
