Daily Painting: Starting up again

Dear reader,


Today, I started up again with my (more or less) daily painting practice, after a beautiful summer holiday in the Pyrenees. It was wonderful to be in touch again with the rough nature that I love so much. I’s beautiful to be surrounded by  magnificent rocks, lakes and mountains, that will surely survive me. Gives me the right perspective.


Back in the Netherlands, I am in the middle of picking up work again, and today it started to ‘itch’, and I made my first small painting after quite a while. It’s postcard-sized, and made on an old scrap of another old painting.
