Another postcard-day.
I tend to prefer torn scraps over cut scraps, rough painting versus neat painting, and crooked lines versus straight lines. But I realize that by adding straight lines to a collage, there is more contrast. And that is interesting.

Simone, this postcard demands that I really get in and explore—my eyes are so eager to ‘figure things out.’ They want to know what created one effect, or how another was achieved. It begs me to hold it in my hands.
