Dear reader,

Today I realized again, what I LOVE about daily painting. Every morning, you get to dive into the unknown, and surprise yourself with what’s coming out of it. It’s an interesting combination of letting go and do your utmost best. I never articulated this before, maybe. Intuitive painting seems to be all about letting go and so on, and that’s maybe the most important part for us humans, since we are told from childhood on that we should perform and improve. But at the same time, you are super focused and trying hard to accomplish what your inner eye is seeing.

A combination of coincidence and intention.

Today I continued working on yesterday’s collage. This time I again gave myself again the assignment to paint over half of the painting, and see how it would continue to develop. I love this assignment since there is already so much happening on the page. I covered what I didn’t like (with black tissue paper, using spraypaint and white paint), and there are still enough tidbits over from yesterday. (Tidbits? Is that correct? Or is it only used for food?)
