Daily Painting: To paint or not to paint?

Daily painting

Dear readers,

Today I made a ‘complete’ painting again (only 15 x 15 cm, but still).

I felt kind of restless, and then the question arises: to paint or not to paint? I have so many other things that I want to do today…

I chose for painting, obviously, but sometimes I don’t know what’s wise.

When I don’t paint regularly – it’s easy to lose the rhythm alltogether.

When I paint (almost) every morning – it can feel ‘forced’ or ‘obliged’.

Today, I was happy that I painted – eventhough I kept feeling that restlessness.

Below you see the ‘underpainting’. Nine squares are already cut out. Three to go..

The painting after:

As you see, almost everything got covered up. Only a few drops in the upper left corner were left uncovered. And a bit of white on the left.

Bye!

I love seeing the before and after. I love hearing your inner dialogue about painting. Thank you and thank you!
