Daily painting: Unexpected neutrals

Kunst

Dear reader,

After all those busy days, today I have a bit more space, so I decided to continue working on a slightly bigger painting (20/20″). Not easy though: I had this beautiful first layer with all those colours, and now I had to proceed to the second one. I have been writing a lot about feeling free while painting, and now I felt stuck myself! I kept on painting, and suddenly all those neutrals started to emerge. I kind of liked them!

I don’t know where this is going yet. We’ll see!

bye,

Simone

Yes, it is a beautiful thing that I don’t know: I let the brushes surprise me. By the way, I probably will not be working on it the next weeks, but how knows?

Without looking back, I don’t remember what this painting looked like last time you painted, but I LOVE these neutrals, and I have a delicious sense of anticipation, wondering what might come next. I don’t know, and YOU don’t know!
