Daily painting: White on Black

Kunst

Dear reader,

Today I painted the other way around: I took a piece of black paper, painted white on it (using simple monotype-techniques: dripping some paint on the page and then press a piece of paper on it, lifting it and pressing it again on the surface). Used my fingers to put some extra white paint on. And then a layer of Quin Gold, grey and white crayon, and Indian Ink. I like the result!

bye, Simone

Thanks, Dotty, I hope you enjoy your comeback with fresh energy (even though it is a while ago when I post this…)!

Simone, you get stunning results from simple playing and experimenting. I am returning to painting in my at-home studio today for the first time in about two weeks after having been away. I will carry your experimental energy with me.
