Dear reader,
After an extended period of working on a small size, today I worked on a bigger piece, 20/20″, on a wallpaper. Today I painted the first layer. It was fun to work bigger again. Much more hassle though, with all the paint, and also not ideal for my knees;-)
I notice that I usually only use small shapes. I might experiment this time with making bigger shapes, larger lines, just to stretch myself a bit. We’ll see what happens next week.

Simone, each time I see this painting it pulls me in and lights me up with its vibrant warm energy and movement. It’s a happy party of celebration. Love seeing your studio floor, with newspaper and all your wonderful supplies.
