I think I’d like to do some five-minute postcards to send to my dad. What paper do you use? Sturdy enough to be a postcard?
Hi Dotty! I’m sorry I’m responding SOOO late, but here I am: I use 250 grams/115 lb cardboard/thick paper. I should gesso it, I guess (the cardboard is brownish from itself), but I’m lazing and I paint without gesso, since there will be many layers of paint applied anyway. I guess your dead will love them, and they are absolutely sturdy enough to send. I painted the back also, that makes it stay flat.
