Kunst

Dear readers,

Today a similar experiment as the days before: a lifting paper and work on it with crayon. Only today even more simple: black paint (that was already there because of lifting the paper), small pencil, oil pastel, black marker.

Yesterday I browsed on Pinterest. By the way: isn’t this medium wonderful! For years I have been searching the internet for interesting artist, saving pictures on my harddisk, without the possibility to easily scroll through them.

And I stumbled upon a wonderful artist: Hiroshi Matsumoto.

He really is painting daily, makes wonderful 9/9 cm oil paintings on canvas. On his site you find also a very interesting video about his process. Much recommended!

bye!

Simone

    Yes! Ik know. VERY dangerous.

    But isn’t his work beautiful?

Your recent “down and dirty” painting adventures have provided such affirmation and optimism. I’m grateful that we can encourage and inspire each other at this time when we are both busier than we might wish with activities other than painting. I like this little black-and-white!

Uh oh! Dangerous that you provided a link to a new artist. I could lose myself all morning!
